The Crime Scene built its name on live shows that leave it all on the stage, a reputation that regularly lands them on premier bills across the country. They’ve headlined sold-out clubs, opened Brian Setzer’s Rockabilly Riot at the Arvada Center, and shared the main stage at Bohemian Nights New West Fest alongside the Steve Miller Band.
Blending rockabilly, blues, classic rock, and soul, the band operates as a secret weapon for promoters. They warm up the room, convert unfamiliar audiences, and get people on their feet early through pure generosity of showmanship.
2019 was the year it all came together.
The latest album City of Love hit number one on the national Roots Rock chart and swept five Colorado Blues Society Member’s Choice Awards. Based in Lisbon since 2023, the band traded the Rocky Mountains for the Atlantic, taking their signature high-voltage sound across the pond.

2014 The Other Side Album · the debutBorn out of a year of writing in a Denver apartment between Kerry and Paul Shellooe. Film noir in the look and the sound, and it comes out vintage and current at once.
2020 It’s a Quarantine Christmas! Album · holidayRecorded and filmed from lockdown. Re-imagined Crime Scene Christmas songs plus two new originals, with AJ Knight guesting on jingle bells.
2020 Zou Bisou Bisou Single · Quarantino SessionsThe French-language song from the Season 5 birthday party scene in Mad Men, cut with every member of the band in a different home studio.
2020 Red Right Hand Single · Quarantino SessionsTheir take on the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds track, recorded remotely and left raw enough that it still sounds like the four of them in a room.

The band built its live reputation on the road, across headlining club shows and festival stages, from Colorado out to Las Vegas, Kansas City, Nashville, the Gulf Coast and eventually Lisbon. Standout dates include opening Brian Setzer’s sold-out Rockabilly Riot at the Arvada Center in 2017 and taking the main stage at New West Fest alongside the Steve Miller Band.
