Using this site, subscribing to the letter, or booking anything means you are working under the terms below. They are written to be read rather than survived.
The writing, the photographs, the paintings, the recordings, the book excerpts and the six-chapter framework belong to Kerry Pastine and to True Self Essentials Publishing. Read it, quote a bit of it with credit, send a link to anybody you like. Reproducing it, reselling it, teaching it as a course, or training a model on it needs her written permission first, and she does say yes to some of these, so ask.
Coaching is a collaboration. Kerry brings twenty-five years of it and you bring the willingness, and what comes out depends on both. She is not a licensed therapist and none of this substitutes for professional mental health treatment, medical advice or legal counsel. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or your local emergency service.
Booking a session means you accept that your choices and your wellbeing remain yours. An outcome here is beyond anyone’s power to promise, because the work is yours to do.
Sessions need twenty-four hours’ notice to move or cancel. Inside that window the session may be charged in full, because the hour was held for you and is hard to fill at short notice. Life happens, and if it happens to you, tell her and she will be reasonable about it.
The ebook is a download, so the sale is final once it has been sent. If a signed copy arrives damaged, write to her and she will replace it. Paperbacks bought through Lulu are covered by Lulu’s own return policy. Coaching packages already partly delivered are refunded for the sessions still to come.
Everything in the catalog is a one-off original. Availability can change from one day to the next, sometimes between you seeing a canvas and writing about it, because several sell out of the studio before they ever reach this website. The catalog page is a showcase rather than an offer to sell at a stated price. Size, condition, shipping and price are agreed by email before anything is invoiced.
Subscribing means you agree to receive Letters from Lisbon now and then. Your address stays out of every sale and you can leave from the link at the bottom of any letter.
This site links to Bandcamp, Spotify, YouTube, Lulu, Gumroad and a few other places. Those are their own companies with their own terms and their own privacy practices, and what happens once you arrive there is entirely up to them.
Kerry Pastine and True Self Essentials Publishing are not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from your use of this website or your application of the framework in Take Back Your Self. Looking honestly at your own life carries real emotional risk, which is the point of it, and by doing the work you accept that risk as yours.
These terms run under the law of Portugal, where Kerry lives and works, and the law of the United States, where the publishing company is registered.
The date at the top is the date it last changed. Anything already booked or bought runs under the terms as they stood on the day you booked or bought it.
