What’s going on

The call is twenty minutes on Google Meet, or on the phone if you would rather, and it asks for zero preparation. At the end Kerry tells you straight whether she is the right person for it. Sometimes the answer is somebody else, and then she gives you the name, which is what makes the twenty minutes worth having either way.
